This weekend the Wakefield local group of Amnesty International (AIUKW) are presenting another opportunity to take part in this excellent annual campaign. So why not come along to The Ridings Centre in Wakefield, to write a letter or a card – details below. By taking part in this invaluable campaign, you are making a real difference to someone’s life. In Amnesty’s words, “Presidents, police chiefs and prison governors do take note when they receive hundreds of appeals to release a prisoner, stop the harassment of an activist or change an unjust law.” Please, cherish YOUR freedom of expression and use it to stand up for the freedom of others.
